Prashna 在梵文里就是「问题」。本命盘从你出生的那一刻起，读的是一辈子；Prashna 从你认真问出一个问题的那一刻起，只读这一件事。Prashna is Sanskrit for “question”. A birth chart starts from the moment you were born and reads a life; Prashna starts from the moment you sincerely ask, and reads only that matter.
它的道理很朴素：一个问题真正成形、被你说出口的时候，天空的样子就是这件事的样子。所以不需要你的出生时间，也不需要知道你是谁——只要提问的那一刻，和你所在的地方。The idea is simple: when a question truly takes shape and you say it, the sky at that moment mirrors the matter. So it needs neither your birth time nor who you are — only the moment you ask and where you are.
这门功夫在印度传了一千多年，17 世纪喀拉拉写成的《Prashna Marga》至今还是常被引用的经典。西方也有同一种思路，叫 horary astrology，William Lilly 在 1647 年把它写成了书。It has been practised in India for well over a thousand years; the Prashna Marga, written in Kerala in the 17th century, is still a standard reference. The West has the same idea in horary astrology, set down by William Lilly in 1647.
一次只问一件事，越具体越好。「这份工作要不要接」比「我的事业怎么样」更适合。One matter at a time, as specific as you can. “Should I take this job?” suits it better than “How is my career?”
